Prior to coming to Chandler, he worked five years ago for his brother-in-law, Joseph Livers, in the building line.

He will have lived in Chandler for about a year as of Sunday.  During this time, he has built the Commonwealth ditch and cement culverts and bridges.  He also placed the street curbings, and also a firm believer in good roads as the highways leading out of Chandler can testify too.  (Chandler Arizonan 4/25/1913)

-Mr. Cashman went with Jerome Elbertson, J.H. Keith, J.R. Loftus, and F.V.N. Dana to the Roosevelt Dam last Sunday with Oris Holdren at the wheel.  It was the first time to the dam for Messrs. Dana, Cashman, and Loftus.  Mr. Cashman had to admit that the dam was better than anything that Missouri had to offer.  (Chandler Arizonan 7/25/1913)
