S.C. appears in the 1918 Chandler City Directory as a salesman for McArthur Bros. In the 1919 directory, he is a farmer at P.O. Box 121.

The 1920 directory lists him as Sylvester, says he is married to Ethelyn, works in autos and lives on Dakota Street.
