Dobson, F. Roy Sr.

F. Roy Dobson, Sr., was the oldest son of John H. and Letchy Scott Dobson.  He ranched the Mesa, Tempe, and Chandler area, raising sheep on his ranch.  Roy married Pauline E. Appleby, and they had a son, named F. Roy Dobson, Jr.

Roy Dobson appears in the 1930, 1931 and 1932 city directories as living on Route 1.

The 1932 Phoenix Telephone Directory, Chandler section, said Roy Dobson lived on a ranch and had the phone number 87-J2.
