The 1916 and 1917 Chandler City Directories list him as working in transfer. His wife is Winifred. E.. In the 1918 Chandler City Directory he is also described as working in livery and transfer and storage. His wife's name is spelled Winnifred.

The 1919 and 1920 directory lists him as proprietor of F & F Service Station. He and Winifred lived on E. Buffalo Street, according to the 1920 directory.
