-Mrs. Heffner is a talented painter, and decorates their home with her work.  She has been married to James for nearly a year now.

She runs the chicken farm with 125 chickens.  Some of them are thoroughbreds which give her a handsome profit and keeps her in hats.

Her prize poultry though is turkeys, which run wild in the alfalfa.  They require little grain, and make her a between $100 and $200 every fall.  (Chandler Arizonan 4/18/1913)
