He appears in the 1918, 1919, 1920 and 1925 Chandler City Directories  as a gardener at San Marcos Hotel. His wife was Bertha.

The 1920 directory showed them living on Commonwealth Avenue.(1925)

The 1923 directory said he was a carpenter at the San Marcos Hotel. 

He appears in the 1926 directory as a gardener, living on Commonwealth Ave.
