He is listed in the 1918 Chandler City Directory as a pressman at South West Cotton Co.  In the 1919 directory he appears as a pressman for the Chandler Egyptian Cotton Ginning Co. The 1920 and 1921 directories said he was a cotton pressman living with E. G. Townsend.
