White, J. W.

The 1916 , 1917 and 1918 Chandler City Directories describe  J. W. as a rancher. In the 1919 directory he is listed as a farmer and in the 1920 directory as a rancher.

-Mr. White has a three year lease on J. H. Quartier's 40 acres south of town.  He will pay 15 dollars an acre per year.  He is from Phoenix, and has 80 acres of school land near the Quartier place.  He will use the land for 150 head of milk cows, and go into the dairying business.  (Chandler Arizonan 6/20/1913)

-Mr. White was in town this week with a load of watermelons that were fine and sweet.  Mr. White is in dairying and has a large number of cows.  He is farming about 60 acres.  (Chandler Arizonan 7/4/1913)
