01: Frank Lloyd Wright
Frank Lloyd Wright, world renowned architect, met Dr. Alexander J. Chandler in 1928 while Wright was consulting on the construction of the Arizona Biltmore. Dr. Chandler approached Wright with the idea of another great hotel to be a sister to the San Marcos. Wright accepted the offer because of his poor finances and he believed that Dr. Chandler was a man of vision.
