True Hungarian Goulash

3 tbsp. margarine

6 large onions, chopped

4 lbs. beef stew meat

3 tbsp. paprika

1-1/2 tsp. salt

 

Melt margarine; add chopped onions and cook until golden.

Add beef, paprika and salt. Stir and cover. (Do not add any liquid).

Simmer until beef is tender, about 2 hours.
