12 corn tortillas
Ground red hot pepper, “Chile colorado”*
Cheese
Onion
Sour cream
Olives
*The hot pepper can be hot, sweet or medium, as desired.
Fry the tortillas in oil until golden brown.
Prepare the red pepper with water, garlic and salt.
Grind the cheese.
Finely chop the onion.
Place in a pan the tortillas in pieces.
Put a layer of tortillas, and top it with cheese and onion. Top with another layer of tortillas with cheese and onion.
Then, place another layer of the same thing.
Finally, add the hot pepper.
Bake in the oven for 15 or 20 minutes and add more cheese, onion and olives. Garnish with sour cream when serving.
