Air Force, USAF
The Air Force trains young men and women to become pilots and aircraft observers. Commissioned flying officers are provided for active duty, and the cadets they train enable the Air Force to maintain a sizable reserve in the lower age bracket. Aside from basic military training, those who enlist are provided educational opportunities, world travel, and technical training valuable to civilian life.
In addition to their classroom education, military training, and career guidance at Air Force technical schools, cadets held shows and wrote columns in air training.
