D. Herman appears in the 1918 Chandler (Arizona) City Directory as a pressman at South West Cotton Co.  in the 1919 directory,

He is listed as a farmer.

The 1920 directory lists Daily Herman as a driver and said he and his wife Edith Herman lived on Dakota Street.

He appears in the 1931 and 1932 directories as a chauffeur, living with Edith at 298 N. California.

The 1940 Chandler Resident Directory said he was a routeman for Crystal Ice Co. and lived on a RD northeast of Chandler. His phone number was 78J3.
