Mr. Cooper came here from Denver, Colorado a few weeks ago, and stayed awhile at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Parkinson where he met Aubrey, now his wife.

He ran off to elope with Aubrey on Monday morning in a horse and buggy which they hired from M. J. Trainer, his boss at the barber shop.

They went to the license office, and then scurried to the judge's chambers of Judge John C. Phillips. All the while they were being chased by her father and her brother, Cecil.
