-Mr. Parkinson is from Hemet, California.

He bought 40 acres in section 15 this week, and will return here in two weeks with his family, and put up a commodious home on his land and start farming. (Chandler Arizonan 2/21/1913)

-Mr. Parkinson and his son, C.E. Parkinson, arrived in Chandler this week to locate on his 40 acres in section 2. He brought with him a carload of household goods and farm machinery from Riverside County, California. He also brought two mule foot hogs, which are said to be impervious to cholera and other diseases, and will usually be larger than 1,000 pounds than Poland China and or Berkshires.

They will start building a home at once, and the rest of the family will come when completed. They also plan to go into the cattle business. (Chandler Arizonan 3/21/1913)

-Mr. Parkinson has a new neighbor, E. Kurth. (Chandler Arizonan 4/25/1913)

-Mr. Parkinson spent Monday chasing down his oldest daughter, Aubrey, who had eloped with Rex Cooper. At about 10 a.m., he discovered his daughter missing, and with his son, Cecil, went to Phoenix by train to try to stop the marriage. They were met by a police officer at the train. Then they were taken to the license office, where they missed the couple by minutes. Then they went to the courtroom, but the couple was in judge's chambers already.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Parkinson is calling the license office to keep them from handing over the license, but they said as long as they were both of legal age they couldn't stop it. Then she talked to Chief of Police Moore, who agreed to send a police officer to catch the train. (Chandler Arizonan 6/20/1913)

-Mr. Parkinson has exchanged his contract with the Chandler Improvement Company for a deed to his land. (Chandler Arizonan 6/27/1913)

He appears in the

1917, 1918 and 1919 Chandler City Directories as a farmer and the 1920 and 1921 directories as a rancher.

The 1923 and 1925 directories gave his address as R.D. 1, Box 120. The 1930 directory said A. T. Parkinson lived on Route 1.
