Served as a City Councilmember from April 1921 - May 1922.

Benjamin M. Crenshaw appears in the 1918 and 1919 Chandler City Directories  as being in the real estate, insurance and notary business.

The 1920 directory says he is in real estate and that he works or lives on Boston, near San Marcos Place. The 1921 directory said he worked in real estate and was a City Council member. He and Clare lived on Boston, at the corner of Dakota.

The 1923 and 1925 directories said he worked in real estate on Boston, near San Marcos Place, and that he and Clare W. lived on Boston, near Dakota.The 1926 directory just said he worked in real estate on west Boston.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Crenshaw spent a pleasant Sunday afternoon horseback riding in the country with friends.  The party included Misses Bee and Mildred Clemens, Miss Peeler, and Mrs. Bradley.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/21/1913)
