-Mr. Darrow attended a party in celebration of Hazel A. Osborne's birthday. It was held at the Adams Hotel in Phoenix on Saturday.

-Mr. Darrow had dinner with 12 other men at Bob Plenty's Food House where they ate quail and cottontails. Other diners included S.S. Bradley, F.V.N. Dana, Joe Cashman, Turner Jr., Mr. Hibgen, J.T. Reese, Claude Hanna, B. Chisholm, C. Zeiger, Frank Newman, J.K. Halstead, and G.H. Binkley. It was held on Monday night. (Chandler Arizonan 1/31/1913)
-Mr. Darrow took an overnight trip to the Roosevelt Dam with Hazel Osborne, Louise Kohlmeyer, Mrs. McBride of the Hotel Adams in Phoenix and was chaperone, and Frank J. Newman. A good time was had by all. (Chandler Arizonan 1/31/1913)

-Mr. Darrow has been since September the time-keeper at the San Marcos Hotel, but now has resigned to take a new job at Weaver Construction Company in San Diego. Mr. Darrow left Monday to go to the Grand Canyon for several weeks before staring his new jobs. His hosts of friends will miss him. His successor at the hotel is J.D. Jennings, a nephew of the superintendent Jennings from Los Angeles. (Chandler Arizonan 2/7/1913)
