Lewis, George F.

He is listed in the 1916, 1917, 1918 and 1919 Chandler directories as a rancher. The 1919 and 1920 directories  also

describe Lewis as a reader for the Church of Christ Scientist.

In the 1920, 1921 and 1923 directories,  George F. and Webster J. Lewis are listed as owners of El Verjel Rancho Inc., which grew and preserved apricots and peaches and made apricot and peach butters.  Their company was George F. Lewis & Sons.

George F. also appears in the 1925 directory as owner of El Verjel.
