Mr. Mannen is originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and has been a barber about ten years.  He did most of his time in Washington state.

He has bought Bert Newman's interest in the barbershop originally owned by M.J. Trainer.  (Chandler Arizonan 7/18/1913)

Mr. Mannen and his wife have left Chandler, it is said.  The barbershop has been closed for several days, and Mr. Mannen has disposed of his soda water and other articles giving all signs of leaving. (Chandler Arizonan 8/15/1913)
