PARENTS:

-Mr. and Mrs. Melethy are from Pocatello, Idaho, and are parents of Mrs. Rush.

They arrived in Chandler on Tuesday to make this their future home, because of Mr. Melethy's rheumatism problems for the last couple of years.

Their journey was eventful experience.  First they were held up a by a wreck in Idaho, and in Salt Lake City, they found snow and cold weather.

Mr. Melethy was surprised to see people cutting alfalfa.  (Chandler Arizonan 4/11/1913)

-Mr. Melethy was hit with a bad case of rheumatism when he arrived last week, but has gotten better.  He plans to be more active in Chandler doings.  (Chandler Arizonan 4/18/1913)
