Evan Melton appears in the 1926 Chandler City Directory as a clerk, living at 207 Boston.

The 1929 directory said he was a clerk for White Cross Drug Co. and lived at the Plaza Hotel. He also appears in the 1930, 1931 and 1932 directories as a clerk at the same store.
