Baker, Doug

As a star basketball player in the early 1950s, Doug lead the team in scoring with 17.5 points per game which is still in the top 10 of all time at Chandler High School. He played three years of varsity baseball (3rd base) and two years varsity football (kicker). He attended Grand Canyon College on a basketball scholarship. Out of college, Doug became a coach at Flagstaff High School where he has coached for 23 years. He has taken the Flagstaff High Eagles on to win 8 regional titles and is a member of the Arizona Coaches Hall of Fame.  Doug was inducted into the Chandler Sports Hall of Fame in 2005.
