The 1932 Phoenix Telephone Directory, Chandler section, said E. C. Fowler lived on a ranch southwest of Chandler and had the phone number 63-R4.

The 1940 Chandler Resident Directory said he was a farmer, living with his wife Mary on the east side of Denver A1.
