He appears in the 1940 Chandler (Arizona) Resident Directory as pastor of the Methodist Church. He and his wife Louise lived on  the west side of north California street beyond Buffalo and had the phone number 191.

The church was on the south side of west Cleveland beyond north California. Unclear whether it was the First Methodist Church or Community Methodist Episcopal Church.
