The 1916  and 1917 Chandler City Directories list him as a yardman for the J.D. Halstead Lumber Co.
The 1925 directory said he was a janitor and that he and his wife Mary lived on South Dakota.
In the 1926 directory, he is listed as a laborer. He and Mary lived at 249 S. Dakota.
