Clark, H. D.

Also spelled as Clarke.

-Mr. Clark was appointed to a committee to write the by-laws and constitution for the Chandler Egyptian Cotton Growers' Association.  He also pledged to grow a certain amount of acerage of cotton.  He also gave a speech at the first meeting.

At the second meeting, he opposed joining with the Mesa association.  They wouldn't help us get a gin, and that they should take care of themselves was his argument.

He gave one dollar to be part of the stock list.  (Chandler Arizonan 3/28/1913)

-Mr. Clark's road near his home has been flooded due to heavy rains.  It happened because the road is lower than the fields.

His home is near A.G. Grainger.  (Chandler Arizonan 4/25/1913)

-Mr. Clark will serve as clerk for the Chandler district's voting on the wet and dry election.  (Chandler Arizonan 5/16/1913)

-Mr. Clark is one of the directors' of the Bank of Chandler.  He has replaced Dr. Chandler's name on the list.  (Chandler Arizonan 6/20/1913)
