He is listed in the 1916,  1917 and 1918 Chandler City Directories  as a rancher.

Married to Emma Edwards. Came to Chandler from Ayeshire, Iowa in 1914.

The 1923 directory said that Emma Edwards was a widow of George Edwards.

Built house in 1917 that is currently at Tumbleweed Ranch (McCroskey House).
