He appears in the 1931 and 1932 Chandler (Arizona) City Directories as living at 112 S. Oregon, the same address as William N. Gaylord and his wife Hattie E. Gaylord.

The 1940 Chandler Resident Directory said he worked as a clerk at Gaylords Store and that he and his wife Martha lived on the east side of north Colorado beyond Cleveland.
