He appears in the 1929 Chandler (Arizona) City Directory as a machinist for Chandler Machine Works. His wife was Elinore. They lived on south Chicago.

The 1930 directory said he was a blacksmith for Chandler Machine Works and that he and Eleanor lived at 126 S. Colorado.

The 1931 and 1932 directories said he was a mechanic for J. J. Allison and that he and Eleanor lived at 126 S. Colorado.

World War II veteran Ralph Lopez Jr. could be the same person, or related.

Ralph Lopez is also listed in the 1940 Chandler Resident Directory as a blacksmith, working for J. J. Allison & Son. He lived at the Winn Addition.
