Collwell S. McGhee, sometimes known by his initials C. S. McGhee, is listed in the 1916 Chandler City Directory as being married to Nellie McGhee and as a representative of the Thomas Manufacturing Co. The 1918 and 1919 directories list him as a laborer. The 1920, 1921 and 1923 directories said he was a foreman for Chandler Water & Power Co. and that he and his wife lived on Dakota St.

The 1923 directory gave their address as 130 N. Colorado.

-Mr. McGhee is the son-in-law of Mrs. Adelia C. Denny.

He came to Chandler a week ago to consider opening a bakery here from Globe. After canvasing the town he has decided on a lot just across from the San Marcos Hotel on the north side.
