-The Chandler regulars beat the Hotel San Marcos mechanics baseball team last Sunday. He played center fieldman for the team, and is the manager.
He says the team has nowhere to practice, but for a 100 dollars and a piece of land west of town they could make it work. He is interested in starting a baseball league with Mesa, Tempe, and Phoenix. (Chandler Arizonan 1/31/1913)
-Mr. McKay played catcher for the Chandler baseball team in their win against the Sweetwater Indians. He was able to tie up the game with a three base hit in the eighth inning. (Chandler Arizonan 3/7/1913)
