-Mr. and Mrs. Slankard with their daughter, Edith, of Phoenix have relocated to Chandler.  Mr. Slankard is working at the new hotel.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/28/1913)

-Mr. Slankard's home was almost flooded last week from backwater in a ditch behind his home.  Mr. Cashman was able to step in and save the day.  (Chandler Arizonan 5/2/1913)
