In the 1929 directory, he is listed as a barber working at 54 San Marcos Place. He lived on south Colorado.

The 1930 directory said he was a porter for John Chavis and had a home at 132 S. Colorado.

The 1931 and 1932 directories just gave his address as P. O. Box 223.

In the 1940 Chandler Resident Directory, he appears as a janitor at Valley National Bank of Phoenix, Chandler branch. He lived on the west side of south Colorado, beyond Boston.
