He appears in the 1917 Chandler City Directory as a farmer. He also is listed in the 1919 directory as a

farmer living on postal route  1 and married to Sylvia A. His name doesn't appear in the 1918 directory but hers does. In the 1920 and 1921 directories he is listed as a rancher. He and Sylvia lived on Route 1.
