-Mr. Morris gave a speech on "Sugar Cane and It's Growth," at the annual meeting of the Maricopa Farmer's Institute.  (Chandler Arizonan 3/7/1913)

-Mr. and Mrs. Morris, last Sunday, attended the wedding of Richmond Peeler to Beatrice Clemens.  (Chandler Arizonan 4/11/1913)

-Mr. and Mrs. Morris were chaperones for a picnic party Sunday to Granite Reef Dam.  The girls brought the lunch which included Southern style chicken.  The boys went swimming, while the girls hung out by themselves.  Those who attended were Ralph and Lester Jaycox, Lee S. Parke, Will Moore, Paul Johnson, Madge Peeler, Grace and Ruth Johnson, and Bee Peeler.  (Chandler Arizonan 6/6/1913)

 The 1916 and 1917 Chandler directories say he worked  at  a restaurant and is married to Clementine.

The 1919 directory lists E. R. Morris as an employee of the South West Cotton Gin. The 1920 and 1921 directories just give  his name.Â
