Logan Montgomery sometimes went by his initials L. G.

-Mr. Montgomery was part of a rescue party of four people in a car accident in the Eastern Canal.  People in the rescue party included B.C. Rinear, Marie Eldridge, and Lewis Bade.

The people he helped rescue were J.B. Barnett, Dr. M.E. Gibbons, the ten year old daughter of S.W.J. Bowen, and Mrs. Bennett.  (Chandler Arizonan 12/20/1912)

-Mr. Montgomery was part of the bridal party for the wedding of his brother-in-law, Berton C. Rinear, last Wednesday.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/14/1913)

-Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery, E.D. Rinear, and R.A. Grant left for the Mexican border on Monday.  They will stop in Florence and then Tucson.  On the way back, they might stop in Bisbee.  (Chandler Arizonan 3/14/1913)

-While in the town of Nogales, near the Mexican border, Mr. Montgomery with his wife, E.D. Rinear, and Robert Grant witnessed a battle between the rebels and the Federals.  The ment went to the hill to witness it, and left Mrs. Montgomery at the hotel.  The house where they watched the battle from received many buillets.

-Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery, and son, DeRoss, went to the Granite Reef Dam last week.  They were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Berton Rinear, Mr. and Mrs. S.A. Meyer and family, and E.D. Rinear.  One day the sluice gates were closed for cleaning, and it allowed the campers to catch fish by hand.  They were able to catch some, and bring them back to Chandler for a fish fry.  (Chandler Arizonan 4/25/1913)

-Mr. Montgomery and Berton Rinear bought ten acres of land from George C. Smith.  They will move their homes there, and have E.D. Rinear improve the alfalfa land.  The land is about one mile northwest of town.  (Chandler Arizonan 4/25/1913)

-Mr. Montgomery's home was successfully moved to his new land by M.P. Freeman.  (Chandler Arizonan 5/2/1913)

-Mr. Montgomery went with E.D. Rinear and S.A. Meyer and family to see the expert in Sacatan, Mr. E.W. Hudson.  (Chandler Arizonan 6/27/1913)
