Councilmember from May 1937 - June 1944.

-At the first meeting of the Chandler Egyptian Cotton Growers' Association, Mr. Moore pledged to grow a certain amount of cotton this year. 

At the second meeting he gave one dollar to become a shareholder in the organization.  (Chandler Arizonan 3/28/1913)

-Mr. Moore is from Iowa.

Last Friday, he attended a meeting of Masons to discuss having a lodge in Chandler.  (Chandler Arizonan 4/11/1913)

-Mr. Moore attended a meeting of the Little Moonbeams at the Johnson's home last week.  They played "500," and had a light lunch.  Others who attended were Harold Callahan, Lester Jaycox, Louise Kohlmeyer, Lee S. Parke, and Ruth, Grace, and Paul Johnson.  (Chandler Arizonan 5/2/1913)

-Mr. Moore went to the Granite Reef Dam Sunday for a picnic party.  The girls brought the lunch, and the boys went swimming in the afternoon.  Others who attended were Ralph and Lester Jaycox, Paul, Ruth, and Grace Johnson, Lee S. Parke, Madge Peeler, and Bee Peeler.  They were chaperoned by Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Morris.  (Chandler Arizonan 6/6/1913)

He  appears as W.O. in the 1917 Chandler City Directory  as a carpenter and in the 1918 and 1919 directories as a carpenter named O.W.

William O., a carpenter, appears in the 1919 Chandler City Directory. 

The 1926 directory said he was a general contractor, living with his wife Mary F. at 211 Commonwealth Ave.

In the 1929, 1930, 1931 and 1932 directories said  he was a carpenter, living with Mary at 209 W. Commonwealth Ave.

W. O. Moore is listed in the 1932 Phoenix Telephone Directory, Chandler section,  with the home number 128.

The 1940 Chandler Resident Directory said William O. Moore was a councilman and building contractor, living with his wife Mary F. on the south side of west Commonwealth beyond California. He also worked there.
