Built in 1929, the Chandler Heights Citrus Camp was one of only two projects Frank Lloyd Wright ever completed in Chandler. The camp was made up of a dozen unique buildings made of wood with canvas roofs. In addition to housing the camp manager, workers, and visitors, it also had a recreation hall, a dining hall, and a kitchen. Despite being far from the center of Chandler, the camp was electrified. The photo above is courtesy of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.
