-The stockholders and guests of Mesa Improvement Company and the Consolidated Canal Company was in Chandler this week for their annual inspection tour.  They arrived on Wednesday in their private car, "Magnet."  Their will be an annual meeting and review of the past year's accomplishments.

Members of the party included Dwight Cutler, Lem W. Bowen, Mr. Hooker, Miss Campau, Mr. and Mrs. Backus, Mr. and Mrs. Sarmiento, Mr. and Mrs. Ferry, a nurse, and two children.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/7/1913)

-Mr. Gillis had dinner with Dr. A.J. Chandler and other out of town guests including Thomas Marshall, Elon Hooker, D.M. Ferry, Jr., Lem W. Bowen, Dwight Cutler, Standish Backus, T.J. Wolfley, Mr. and Mrs. Sarmiento, and Miss Campau.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/14/1913)
