Gilbert, Jack

-Last Sunday, Mr. Gilbert went swimming with Paul Johnson, Lester Jaycox, and O.W. Berg at the Granite Reef Dam.  While Messrs. Gilbert and Berg  were on one side of the stream, and Johnson and Jaycox on the other, Mr. Jaycox nearly drowned.  He was rescued by Paul Johnson who got him to shore.  (Chandler Arizonan 5/16/1913)
