-Mr. Granillo located to Chandler several days ago.Â
On Wednesday night, Mr. Granillo's "Uncle" Joe Granillo had passed away that day in Tempe. Frank Granillo left Thursday morning for the funeral.
Joe Granillo was an Apache, who was bought for $30 by Mr. Granillo's father, when he was six years old. (Chandler Arizonan 7/11/1913)
-Mr. Granillo of Tempe has rented the Robinson place of twenty acres, and plans to buy 40 more. He owns a hay baler, team, and outfitters with scrappers, etc., and is prepared to do jobs around the town.
He plans to plant seven acres of sorghum, and in the fall build a molasses mill. He will make molasses for the market. Also he expects to get seven hay cuttings off his land this season. He is an expert farmer, and has several brothers to aid him. (Chandler Arizonan 7/11/1913)
-Mr. Granillo's cook shack with his hay baling outfit has burned down. The fire started in one corner and shortly consumed the place. The cause of the fire is unknown. It was impossible to save anything, and cost of the loss is $150. He also lost his shirt, watch, and other personal effects. (Chandler Arizonan 7/18/1913)
