-Mr. and Mrs. Grant are from Minneapolis, MN, and they are looking for land in Arizona for themselves and for family and friends in Minnesota and North Dakota.  (Chandler Arizonan 1/17/1913)

-Mr. Grant went with E.D. Rinear and Mr. and Mrs. L.J. Montgomery to the Mexican border on Monday.  They will stop in Florence and then Tucson before heading to the border.  On the way back, they might stop in Bisbee.  (Chandler Arizonan 3/14/1913)

-Mr. Grant while in the town of Nogales, along the Mexican border, witnessed a battle between the rebels and the federals.  The men left Mrs. Montgomery at the hotel while the men went to watch the battle from a hill.  The house they watched from received many bullets.

-Mr. and Mrs. Grant with Kenneth Upton left for Phoenix to make their future home.  They came to Chandler last fall for her rheumatism which now has been cured.  (Chandler Arizonan 8/15/1913)
