Served as a City Councilmember from May 1922 - May 1924.

He is listed in the 19161917 ,1918 and 1919 Chandler directories as a co-owner with Wayne Heffner of the Holdren & Heffner garage.

In the 1918 and later directories,  he also appears with a wife, Ruth.

The 1920 and 1921 directories said he was an owner of Chandler Garage and that he and Ruth lived on East Buffalo Street.

The 1923 directory said he was an owner of Chandler Garage and member of the Chandler City Council. He and Ruth lived on East Buffalo, at the corner of Colorado. Floyd Holdren and G. Mildred Holdren lived with them. (1923, 1925)

The 1925 directory said he was a foreman at Love Motor Co. and that he and Ruth lived at 102 E. Buffalo. The 1926 directory listed no occupation, but gave the same address for them.

-Mr. Holden had a nine pound baby boy on St. Patrick's day.  He is said to be taking the curves on the road slower and driving more carefully.  (Chandler Arizonan 3/21/1913)
