Parker, Colin
Colin Parker was a talented linebacker who attended Hamilton High from 2003-2007. Parker's high school career was defined by injuries. He finished his junior year with sixty tackles despite missing significant time because of injury. Going into his senior season, he was the top ranked linebacker in the state and expected to lead Hamilton to another title. He ended up missing the entire season because of a torn ACL.
Despite the lack of game experience for Parker in high school, his talent was never in doubt. He enrolled at ASU, where he redshirted his freshman year to give himself more recovery time. He had a very good junior season before breaking out his senior year. Starting every game at linebacker, Parker tallied 75 tackles, six tackles for loss, two and a half sacks, forced four fumbles, and had one interception. He was a Pac-12 All-conference honorable mention.
At the conclusion of his college career, Parker was signed by the Arizona Cardinals to their practice squad. He was on the team for a year before being cut.
