He is listed in the 1929 Chandler City Directory working in bicycle repair at 188 E. Boston. He lived 1 and 1/4 mile south of the city.

The 1930 directory said he worked as a clerk for E. P. Parrish and lived at 198 E. Boston, the same address where  Earl P. Parrish had a second hand store and Earl P. Parrish Jr. lived.
