-Mr. Hanna is being visited by a former associate, Alex McPherson, who is an irrigation expert.  (Chandler Arizonan 1/31/1913)

-Mr. Hanna bought 40 acres which he plans to put to alfalfa.  The land is one mile west of town.  He also has another 40 acres south of town.  (Chandler Arizonan 3/14/1913)

-Mr. Hanna is quitting the Chandler Improvement Company where he was sales manager of the Chandler Ranch lands.  He is going into business himself, and open an office in Chandler, but he lives in Mesa.  (Chandler Arizonan 4/18/1913)

-Mr. Hanna has completed a sale of 40 acres belonging to his wife, Ellen, that is south of town.  He sold it to Marie E. Lewis of Los Angeles. 

He bought the land originally from the Chandler Improvement Company for $100 an acre, and sold it for $165 an acre.  It was a Christmas gift for his wife.

He says it cost him about $25 an acre to work the land.  His net profit is $35 an acre or $1,400.  (Chandler Arizonan 5/16/1913)
