She is listed in the 1918 Chandler City Directory as the wife of Alvin M. Harmer. 

She doesn't appear in the 1919 directory but is listed in the 1920 directory as Nellie E., living with Alvin on Arizona Avenue at the corner of Cleveland. The 1921, 1923, 1925 and 1926 directories show Nella E. as the wife of Alvin. They lived at 200 Arizona Ave., according to the 1923 directory.

The 1926 directory gave their address as 20 N. Arizona Ave.
