12. Jacobsen Block

The last two buildings on the west end of the street were built in 1920 and are together known as the Jacobson Block, so named for the man who built them, David A. Jacobson, an associate of the Chandler Improvement Company and Chandler’s first elected mayor, who served from 1920 to 1922.  Jacobson erected the two buildings in the Mission Revival architectural style.
