Mesios, Mrs. Frank

Mrs. Mesios' two year old daughter was kicked in the side Wednesday morning by a horse grazing on the ranch.  The child had follwed her mother to get water, and toddled too close to the animal.

Dr. K.M. Gilbert was summoned and did everything possible for the child.  It is feared that several ribs are cracked, and that the injuries are serious.

The family lives north of the Halstead Lumber Yard.  Her husband is an irrigator for the Chandler ranch.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/14/1913)
