David Saba, Sr., an immigrant from Lebanon, opened a mercantile store in Ray, Arizona, in 1916.  Three years later he moved to Chandler and peddled wares across Arizona.  By 1927 he had saved enough money to open a western wear store on Boston Street.  Saba’s Western Wear has grown into a family owned chain of nine stores across the Valley.
